I Maestri del Paesaggio 2016

September is a very special month for Bergamo: I Maestri del Paesaggio | Lanscapes, gardens, design in the city. The streets of Città Alta and other symbolic places will host trees and flowers, natural architectures and innovative ideas. Such a nice show!

After an hectic week, I finally had a chance to check it out. It’s all about discovery shows of food and green culture. The event focused on landscape that aims to think off the beaten track and re-think territory and nature from an innovative point of view, taking them straight to everyday life. It is also related to culture, with the numerous meetings for landscape-enthusiasts.

The layout of Piazza Vecchia, the heart of the Upper Town, all dressed in flowers, aims to create a dialogue between the history and the architecture of the square with a strip of biodiversiy which represents an extract of the Orobic Alps on a undulating walkway.

My favourite, the garden of light and sound. It combines light, sound and landscape in a significant and profound way, in order to make the multi-sensory experience of perceiving the landscape even more exciting. The music plays with the nature and becomes one with it. The atmoshpere you get while looking around is relaxing, good vibes!
