It’s already the 5th time that we invite you to participate in our Christmas Postcrossing! It is a great opportunity to get to know some AEGEEans from other countries and share your Christmas joy with them 🙂 Who knows what will come out of it? 😉
It came to the 5th year the Christmas Postcrossing organised by AEGEE-Warszawa. This is the second year I’m taking part in this event and I simply love it.
“AEGEE (Association des États Généraux des Étudiants de l’Europe) is one of Europe’s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations. As a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation AEGEE is open to students and young people from all faculties and disciplines. Founded in 1985 in Paris, today AEGEE has grown to a Network of 13000 friends, present in 200 cities in 40 countries all over Europe.
AEGEE puts the idea of a unified Europe into practice. Operating without a national level, AEGEE brings 13000 students from 40 different countries directly in touch with each other. ”
How does it work exactly?
It’s an online project where you can exchange postcards with people around the world. The official language is English but you can also write in another one if you know the person you’re writing to speak the same language as yours.
The event start earlier by completing online a form with your information and if you want to share any interest regarding yourself.
You don’t know what you’re gonna get. That’s the most exciting thing! You can share the same hobby. For example, this year, the common passion was travelling.
When it is over, you feel satisfaction that you have taken part in this. You can make new friends, share common hobbies and start a pen pal exchange. It’s a simply and original way to be part of the AEGEE world and bring some Christmas to the person you’re writing to.
The postcard I sent last year for the 4th Christmas Postcrossing.
I hope you’ll receive the letter on time. Make sure to put it under your tree till Christmas! Have a fun Postcrossing!
I want to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas!!
