I had tacos before but here at Tocaya I can say I had the best ones so far! My girlfriend and I went to this little cozy restaurants full of lights on a Tuesday night. The space is very casual at Tocaya. You order at a counter from a tight menu of salads, tacos, burritos and bowls.It’s a build you own type set- up where you pick your protein from organic cilandro, jalapeno, skirt steak to orange spiced free-range chicken breast to vegan soyrizo and chipotle dusted tofu. You can also pick your own queso like jalapeno jack and different types of vegan cheese.
We started with a sweet corn tamale and some fresh guacamole garnished with pomegranate seeds, lime pepitas, jalapeño, cilantro & house-made crispy plantain chip. So good we wanted more!
Next up were the tacos! They were presented beautifully on a easy shape tray and were so colorful with all of their toppings. 😛
