During my stay in the USA I went to visit my friend @adrianmcarroll in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was a short trip but I did so many things in few days! Before telling you about some of the highlights of my stay in Tulsa, I’m gonna explain really quick the title of the post. My friend speaks Italian and he loves Tuscany, Italy for the landscape and its food. He gave me a welcome saying “Benvenuto a Tulscania” because the area where he lives reminds you of the hills of Tuscany “in a quaint beautiful city called Tulsa” as he’s proud to say.
We spent a couple of hours at this stylish Tea&Cafee called All about Cha. I had a Iced Yuja lemon, a Korean Yuja tea, sweetened with citrus lemon and honey. It was really good!
We went to Escaping Tulsa with friends at night. First experience. Escaping Tulsa is a fun live escape game, designed for groups of 2-7 people. You get 60 minutes to climb a mountain of puzzles and mysteries in a room. The goal is simple yet challenging: get out in time!
My friends @adrianmcarroll @cbconnell and I went to the Philbrook Museum of Art. The weather was perfect so we could really enjoyed the gardens outside and I had a taste of American Modern/Contemporary and native American art.
Brunch is the keyword. We went to brunch at First Watch. The blueberry pancake I had was massive, it was so good! The savory of the bacon combined with the sweetness of the pancake was a weird combination but I liked it. I think I can have brunch everyday.
I was really happy to visit my friend and I hope I’ll see him again in Bergamo soon!
