When I posted a picture of this beautiful Airbnb apartment on my Instagram stories it was an instant success – I received many reactions from Oreanda – Casa Limon. It’s truly a unique place to stay in Vieques and makes for a memorable, and photogenic, travel experience. The apartment is located in Vieques, a Caribbean island just off the eastern coast of mainland Puerto Rico.
The apartment is tucked into a private hillside, just a short distance from the unique black sand beach. It’s located a quiet mile from Esperanza, a charming seaside town on the southern shore of Vieques, an ecological wonder on an enchanted island. Casa Limon, is a natural residence, and an excellent example of sustainability: the house runs exclusively on solar power and rainwater irrigation. It is highly decorative and ornate, with a new resurfaced pool that gives way onto the ocean.
The house is set across one floor with a spacious living room and an open kitchen that leads to the master bedroom with its own private bathroom and makes for a truly wondrous space to sleep. I went to bed each night feeling like I was in a green paradise and couldn’t believe the size of the room, and the relaxing sounds of the birds, when I rubbed my eyes upon waking up each morning.
There’s a second bedroom with its own private bathroom so the apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people. Oreanda – Casa Limon also has a lovely shaded patio – not to mention, a simple yet lovely decor that blends in the blue colors of the pool (plus a TV with all the major streaming services and a whole library of books). The property was so comfortable, I could have stayed here for weeks and can’t wait to return to Vieques to spend more time inside this fabulous apartment! Anyone you ask about Vieques will just swoon over the beaches. I agree: they are simply amazing. Each of them is different and unique. Some (huge, palm-backed Sun Bay, for example) are easy to get to and offer civilized amenities like picnic tables. Others—Media Luna, Navío, Secret Beach—are exquisitely remote.
Many have beautiful coves with fabulous snorkeling; few ever see more than a dozen visitors at a time. I spend every morning on a special beach. Finding and moving around these beaches involve much perseverance and the tackling of bumpy roads. You will need a car to get around. Vieques Car Rental has four-wheel-drives, the best transportation since many of the beaches are accessible only by rocky paths.
In addiction, Vieques has one of the most impressive bioluminescent (as in glows-in-the-dark) bays on earth. Visiting the bay, especially on a moonless night, is otherworldly. Unfortunately, during my stay there was a full moon and most of the tours weren’t available.
The island is a 30-minute flight from San Juan airport. There is an additional ferry service from Ceiba on Puerto Rico’s east coast.
Oreanda – Casa Limon is an incredible house with all the comforts, luxury and ideal location. The hospitality is exceptional since the on-site local manager takes you from the ferry to the property upon your arrival. He acts as your local guide by giving you tips for the best things to do, restaurants and anything else you need.

I do trust all of the ideas you have introduced on your post. They’re very convincing and will definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short for starters. Could you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.

I think it’s really subjective. Some people prefer more pictures, others more writing. I try to bring a balance of both elements. I’ll definitely keep your suggestion in consideration, thank you!

Aw, this was a very nice post. Taking a few minutes
and actual effort to produce a top notch article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and never seem to get nearly anything
done.
